FAQs

All our sessions and discipline groups are descibed in the ‘Classes’ section of our website.  Double click on the discipline heading to find out more about what we offer here at EVGC. Please note some of our sessions are drop in sessions, some are by invitation only and some are available to join online.

If you would like to check availability for a particular class you should click on the join button and select your child’s age group.  You will see a full list of the days, times and sites of all our recreational and preschool sessions. Just select the class that most suits you and complete the registration process.

If the class is full you will see ‘waiting list’ in the class description.  If this is your preferred class you should complete the registration process and we will contact you as soon as a space becomes available.

All of our advanced and squad level gymnasts are by invitation only.

We do hold regular trials throughout the year which will be advertised on our social media pages but if you would like to speak to us about a place and to arrange a trial, then please send an email initially to reception@evgc.co.uk and we will arrange for the relevant discipline head to make contact with you.

Click the JOIN button from the website and select your child’s age. You will then see a full list of what sessions are available to book today and what sessions have a waiting list.

If you are interested in a class that is currently a waiting list class, please complete the registration process and we will contact you as soon as a place becomes available.

If your preferred class has availability, simply complete the registration process and we will check and approve your place within 48 hours.  You will receive a welcome pack upon registration which will give you lots of information about EVGC and then we will follow this up with class start date confirmation and approval of your space.

Your child will train in bare feet and we ask that they wear something suitable such as shorts/leggings/joggers and t-shirt. No hoodies or clothing that could get caught on equipment should be worn.  T-shirts should be close fitting as they may be working upside down!

No jewellery should be worn and long hair is to be tied back.

Your child will also need to keep hydrated during their session, so we ask that they bring a drink with them, preferably in a sports top bottle with their name on.

Yes! We run throughout the school holidays.

Erewash Valley Gymnastics Club is a British Gymnastics registered club so all our gymnasts are required to be British Gymnastics members.

This membership is renewed on an annual basis and runs from October to October.

The way our fee structure works you pay for 4 weeks every month which equates to 48 weeks of the year therefore this gives us scope to cancel up to 4 sessions in one calendar year. Anything over this you would be compensated.
