Code of Conduct


  • Arrive on time for sessions in the correct clothing.
  • No Jewellery.
  • No eating/chewing during sessions, unless on a break.
  • You must have a drink for your session and store it in the appropriate areas.
  • Always ask permission to leave the session for any reason.
  • Treat all other members/coaches/staff with kindness and respect.
  • Encourage good sportsmanship.
  • Treat all equipment and facilities with respect.
  • No bad language.
  • Inform your coach at the beginning of the session about any injuries or illness.


  • Ensure your child is fit to train.
  • Ensure you child arrives on time for their session.
  • Be on time to collect your child and inform the club if you have any issues regarding collecting your child.
  • Encourage good sportsmanship.
  • Treat all coaches/staff and participants with kindness and respect.
  • Inform the club of any changes to your personal details.
  • Stay up-to-date with EVGC news via the website/Facebook and Notice Boards.
  • Ensure your child as a drink for their session.
  • Do not enter the training areas without permission from a member of staff.
  • Pay fees on time.

Coaches and Staff

  • Arrives promptly for all sessions.
  • Arrive dressed in EVGC uniform at all times when coaching.
  • No Jewellery.
  • Ensure the gym is kept tidy and clean at all times.
  • Treat all members/parents and colleagues with respect.
  • Ensure all participants are collected before leaving.
  • Adhere to EVGC policies and procedures at all times.
  • Place the safety and wellbeing of all participants first at all times.
  • Set a good example through a high standard of behaviour and appearance.

EVGC has the right to ask anyone not complying with the Codes of Conduct to leave the session or, in the case of ongoing infractions, to leave the club.
