A Rhythmic gymnast at EVGC trains between 2 and 5 days a week to develop their skills in much greater detail, always aiming for perfection.
Rhythmic gymnastics combines dance, flexibility and hand apparatus to create spellbinding routines.
Rhythmic gymnasts learn to master five different hand apparatus to create different shapes, throws and catches which are incorporated into choreographed floor routines which are fantastic to watch.
The five hand apparatus are Rope, Hoop, Ball, Clubs and Ribbon. All routines are performed to music which allows a rhythmic gymnast to demonstrate their apparatus handling, body skills and artistic expression.
We offer different levels of Rhythmic gymnastics at EVGC as we know not everyone wants to compete. In our current squad we have gymnasts in the 5 to 19 age group competing at Regional and National levels.
If you would like to trial for the EVGC Rhythmic Squad please contact the club.
